Grace joined Collaborate in 2024 as a Projects and Relationships Coordinator. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from the University of Oxford and specialised during her studies in applying intersectional feminism and queer theory to health and conflict studies.
Grace has experience in the charity sector in both a governance charity and a community arts centre. She has volunteered alongside these roles, most recently connecting with one of her older neighbours as part of an initiative to tackle loneliness in older and younger people within the community.
My time working with charities, both professionally and voluntarily, has enabled me to work alongside communities and develop a deep appreciation for the intricacies of human identity. I believe that embracing this complexity, and honouring individual stories, has the power to create spaces in which people feel valued and heard, and communities in which people feel connected.
I care deeply about accessibility and believe in the importance of facilitating understanding for all, and challenging and dismantling exclusionary practices. I value empathy and believe strongly in its power to strengthen connections and relationships; this is something that I intend to bring to my work at Collaborate.
